Springtide, a phenomenal that occurs during a full- or new moon, when the Sun and Moon align and combine their powers, dramatically increasing the water movement on our planet. One of the many examples showing how big and mysterious our world is. Springtide is about respecting and embracing power of nature, the nourishing effects of water and how to fully enjoy it.

My name is Marcello Verkerk and I am a fulltime water enthusiast.

What drives me in this world is the connection between human beings and nature. I believe that we live in a disconnected society, while all the answer lay just in front of us. For centuries we relied on the knowledge of nature and our intuition. With this work I’m trying to reconnect people with nature and themselves.
